You've already got a very nice sense of scale there, keep going!

Yep, you've got the basic shape there alright.
Having already modelled this in LW I know how much work awaits you, but it's all good - keep going![]()

OMG!! I would never have the patience for all that detail!
Looking awesome mate!!
I also built a MF for my first LW project and it looked nothing like that ..
My Falcon
Looking good so far!

Hang on a minute!
Are you going for the 'blockade runner' polygon record?!?!

Definately on-course for this being a thing of genuine beauty.
Hang in there, feller.
I was going to ask you if you needed any references, but it doesn't look like it.![]()
If you do I have about 180 reference images (10.6MB)

I was inspired from the detail of the "Blockade Runner" - thats why I decid to build the falcon but the model is going to be very "hevy" and the work goes very slow. I'm not sure that i will be able to finish this ship![]()
Treybor - please send the reference to : [email protected]
thanks to all

just a few questions from kitbasher to kitbasher: (because I do something similiar at the moment
do you have started with a part list and model them as a seperate object?
or do you simply start and model through ?
keep on posting your progress...it looks awesome.
I simply model through . First are the simple parts then the complicated one

The ref files are enroute to you via e-mail.

That bit on the portside prong root, where you ramp down from a curved-edge square-shape to a ribbed tube? With the sort of reinforcement-thingies?
I love that, with my deepest heart. That really looks like proper engineering that does. I love all of it, but that's my favourite bit.
I like this bit. Clearly the transmission from a model car kit.Seen a few of them in my day. I love the way they cannibalized model kits for the ships in the earlier films. The model looks great!
