Nothing but problems. Come on newtek you can do better.

Ok I have been in the hospital sense august 25th. So when released. I sat down and built myself a nice new pc win 64. I rush and open my lightwave 64 upgrade cd and guess what it is one of the ones that don’t recognize that I am running win 64. So I download the 64 bit install. (Please tell me why I paid for the cd if it doesn’t work?) Well I get it working to find out that most plug-ins don’t work with 64 so I also install the 32 bit version.

So now I go to install my copy of vue .and guess what it won’t take my serial number. I found the post referring to this. But again I have been away for a long time.

Please some one from newtech contact me so we can resolve these issues.
I am not going to place a long-distance call to be charged more to contact tech support, for software that should have worked.

You can't blame NT because you were not aware that 32bit plugins would
not work with 64bit LW.... They did their job to port LW plugins...
Many people seem to share this ignorance though...
64bit is also not twice as fast!

    As for the serial problem
I believe the number is the number on the CD case and not the LW serial...

I am not upset. Just let down.

But anyway I figured they would make it compatible with 32 bit plugins. Or if not give us a heads up. Which they could have done. I wasn’t here.

I never said anything about speed.

And as for vue not using the lightwave serial thanks for the tip I will try it but I was going by the bright yellow paper inside saying use you’re lightwave serial.

And for using the word ignorance. That is offensive to me. And unnecessary
You could have said many people share your miss beliefs that ….
And many more non offensive terms
