    Cubic Projection


    I know that this forum is dedicated for the LScript, but I didn't see a section for Plugins.

    So ... I'm making a export plug-in from Lightwave to an other format. I have a big problem to retreive the vertex's UVs coordinates. Indeed if the mesh has been mapped with Vmap, it's all right. But If the mesh is not mapped and that the UVs are computed thanks to the texture projection paramater (Planar, Cylindric, Sperical, Cubic) a problem occurs.

    The problem appears for the Cubic Project, because the function used to evaluate UV (LWTextureFuncs::evaluateUV) waiting the projection's axis. Theses axis are computed from the vertices' normals, but the SDK does not allow to acces to them. So I must computed them :/

    So if someone knows how to evaluate simply the UVs coordinates with a Cubic projection.
