I guess so, since downloading is a bit slow.

The limited region rendering sounds to be very useful. And the timeline scrubbing is much improved over 2.0 which for me was bordering on unworkable.

Very impressed with the speed increases
Just tried a scene with radiosity and loads of surfaces on a duel 2.8 xeon:

    FP2 - 12min 45sec
    FP2.1 - 5min 3sec

The preview window is also MUCH faster for me too.

I suspect it's still not 64bit ready yet.

I tried installing it and it doesn't want to load. Is this because it's for 32bit only. I'll have to try it on a 32bit machine.

    I loaded it on a 32bit machine. I don't have 32bit on x64 loaded.

Great Thanks to Worley Labs for FPrime 2.1 speed inscrease on dual processors and rendering region
Also thank for Sasquatch 1.7 (last update was July 15, 2003!) for non modal pannel...
However it is a pity that we cannot render Sasquatch grass with FPrime (But it is another story that will end with LW 9 I hope...)

    For what's it's worth.

I have FPrime 2.1 and it only works on LW64(win32), and will not load the plugins for LW8.5(Win64), getting no plugins loaded. Both apps running on the same machine AMD64 Athlon 3400+ with 1G mem.

Does anyone have any FPrime running with LW8.5(Win64) version?

Same here exactly. Any plugins written in LScript will probably work. The .p plugins are externally compiled and I suspect that is the problem. I haven't written any plugins but have written dll's, ocx's etc. LW64 install was a completely new install as NT said and I believe it's probably due to the dependacy files, include files and such. Recompiling with the new 64bit SDK would probably fix these problems.
