    8.3b ??

I have looked and hope this is not already addressed directly.

Is there any word on a soon-to-be-released 8.3b to fix all the new and improved bugs? Or should I go ahead and roll-back to 8.2 as I'm tired of trying 64+ tricks to get 8.3 to work with my 8.2 scenes. I still have a dozen scenes I can't load, and have run out of 'things' to try to get them to lad w/o crashing.

    Can a NewTekian respond?

    thx
    why?

It's stories like yours that keep me from updating.

    Hi !

Just one question for you cc3d .

Did you maybe found some repeating pattern in scenes what won't load in 8.3 ? Any type of object or scene properties maybe ? I ask 'coz I'm trying to find scene which won't work on my 8.3 but so far i was able to load about 25-30 of my scenes (i didn't have time to test all of them) from 7.0, 7.5, 8.0 and 8.2 with no problems so i wonder is this really 8.3 or soemthing other.

What SP are you using on WinXP ? I'm still on SP1a (I didn't upgrade on SP2 yet and CD is laying down on my table for some time - somehow I'm afraid to upgrade to SP2 'coz all is working for me )

    cheers

I'm on sp2 and v8.3. I can load scenes back to 6.5 (legacy content from previous content folders). Haven't had one refuse to load yet.
