Thread: parenting

I have a problem with parenting. I'm trying to do it in layout. And when I click on the motion options, and use parent item, my object still moves and leaves behind the eyes and other parts I want to move along with it.

Are you selecting the eyes and going to motion options for them and selecting the 'head' object to be their parent, or selecting the head and going to the motion options for it? If it's the latter, you should be selecting the eyes and going into THEIR motion options to set their parent as 'Head'. If not, then it's something else.... Maybe bones?

You're right. I wasn't going to the eye and then selecting the head for it. But, I tried that and it seems to be in working order. Thanks!
