Can LW's cow be used in a non-commercial environment?

    Greets,

Just wondering what the terms of use are for the cow that comes with the LW disc. I have a project that needs a cow on short notice, just wondering if I can use that or if I need to build my own.

    Nano

p.s. even a hint as to where to look would be quite helpful.

I don't have a link but I do believe ALL the stuff included with LW is free for use in non-commercial AND commercial work.
    Check the license agreement.

Where would I look for the license agreement? Nothing's printed on the CD, and the PDF that is on it doesn't say anything but who made it.

(Apologies if I'm being dense. Bit frazzled with this deadline.)

For LightWave 8, in Modeler, open Help>Content, type License in the search field, the results should include, "NewTek Content End User License Agreement."

Very cool! Thank you! First time I ever opened that!

Well, it seems like I can use it so long as I don't make it into stock footage or sell the model. Man I hate reading legalese. It's just an FX shot.
