Lightbulb Pouring water out a glass???

I am trying to simulate water pouring out of a glass.
Does anybody know a good way to do this?
    I am using 7.5

particlefx would be a good way to go. there are several scenes in the particlefx directory that will simulate water inside the cup. you may have to make the water settle in the cup first before you can pour it.

I'd recommend Realflow which you can find here (with a pic of water pouring into a glass)

Remembering back to early versions, the interface left a bit to be desired, but they've probably improved it by now.

They've got a free fully functional 30 day demo available for download as well

Have a look at www.wondertouch.com for Particle Illusion it is very reasonably priced and has a huge library of effects, including pouring water.

    Question FRUSTRATED

i found the glass of water that came on the lw cd. looks really good.

unfortunately it DOESN'T HELP AT ALL. If the motion files have already been saved out, what good does the scene do us? we can't look at any of the settings.

i.e. How to get the partilcles to collide instead of all sitting at the bottom of the glass, like so...

and yes, i've tried fx start.

    jeremy,

i think the settings are there. you just have to delete the pfx motion file that's associated with it, and you'd be able to edit the values yourself (or peruse them).

to delete the motion file go to the FILE tab and click on CLEAR MOTION.
