    Involke Non-Modal window...

How do I make the window so that the user can still work in Modeler?

    Hi Lamont,

This isn't possible from LScript due to the nature of how the Modeler API works. However you might have seen some scripts that fake this effect, what they're actualy doing is using a callback feature of panel 'ctl' controls whereby if they are adjust/pressed e.t.c, a user defined function or 'UDF' is called.

Within this function you can do things that will update the viewports, but there's no way of interacting with anything outside of the LScript panel.

    Cya!

Hehe, you could always subscribe to the LScript mailing list and ask Bob 'make my dreams come true' Hood for 'MeshDataEdit' functionality, I'll give it a thumbs up and I'm sure most others would too!

    [Edit]

I just asked Bob myself, you never know!
