nice one veljko, and yes i think almost all of us have seen it before... i like it when models have a little bit of character, but they still keep that realism with good texturing, like yours

I've been toying with (can't really say I actually *use*) LightWave as a hobby off and on for a little over 5 and a half years. Can't say I've reached any degree of expertise, but I do enjoy it nonetheless. This render is several years old, but I personally still consider it to be my best work. I think that's largely due to the work being a labor of personal loss rather than an exercise in technique.

NightDead- Looks like a gallery exhibit. Blur the shadows and add specularity to the metal and you are there.

Whitestar, I guess you could claim that researching reference material was a legitimate business expense.. ;-)

Whitestar your piece is incredibly similiar to the new media piece "All is full of love' by Chris Cunningham. So much so i question whre you origanal inspration for your work came from.

This is a model I made 2 years ago, I should have done it with sub-patch all the way. At that time, all I could think of was just how to lower the polys, stupid me. : p

I took it out from the dust and redo the lighting with Fprime's help. This is the most satisfied one I've got.

Hi emoboy83, as far as I'm aware its not the picture you mention but yes i did get the idea from a picture I saw a long while back that I liked and thought was sexy without going too far but as I say I don't believe it was by Chris Cunningham I've attached a picture that I've found called "All is full of love'

Couldn't decide on one image, so here's a collection of my better stuff.

This is all deadline driven project work, so none of it has been really tweaked to go for ultra-realism.

I need to finish off more personal projects for that, problem is, I never have the time!

Oh well, here it is . . .

My best is easily Shakespeare's Globe Theater. I did these a few months ago for an English class, and it was my last major use of LW for a while since I poured 40+ hours into this project. Everything is pretty accurate, though I took some artistic liberties with the color scheme and some of the aspects surrounding the stage.
