    Talking Gundam RX-78-2

    Hello to all,
I began to model the Gundam of first television series transmitted from about 20 years (in Italy). I have intention to realize also the inside mechanisms that do motive the articulations of the robot and all the varied panels of inspection, all working with the IK settings.
    I left from the arm.
    Every comment is well welcome.

    hi DM67...
I always was a great fan of the robotec-manga.
Do you use subdivision modelling? Can you post a wireframe?

I use the modeling for subpatch or for polygons, depends only from the model that should realize. Naturally for the organic model (you see my avatar) use the subpatch, I realized also a F-16 entirely in subpatch (can see it in the gallery of LightWave on this site in the section transportation).
To model the Gundam I decided to run back the polygons, helped from the plug-in Rounder, because I should do a lot of cuts and was simpler to use the bolean operations.

    Hey sKb875,
I began this project from two days, but I do not know when I will finish it, because I have other projects to do simultaneously.
One of those it is Ciclops of the X-Men, you can see it in this same section of the forum.
    Thanks for the compliments.

    Cheers
    Tony
