Pirate Animation - Uses LW?

I couldn't find much other information on Pirate Animation, so I was wondering if they use LW or if their logo unintentionally (or intentionally?) looked like the LW logo.

Sure looks like LW to me.

Nah, the gizmos aren't quite right, some non-LW-looking null shapes, and there's a few realtime measure things that don't look like LW either (f.e. their lack of measure units).

I'd guess either Maya or C4D. Possibly LW, but if so, I'd be interested in what add-ons they were using for animation.
