With things looking dead on the Newtek/VizRT side of things regarding Lightwave I can see Liberty3d being even more important to Lightwave users going forward.

Same... Purchased QuadPanels and had issues of my own making causing problems. Response was super fast and got me on track!

Also purchased the 3d Coat training and wanted to check to make sure I downloaded everything. Again, response was super fast.

I really appreciated that, so I will third (or fourth?) the thanks!

Do you have any issues with Quadpanesl and using your own panels. Ive tried several times in 2020 and whilst the default panels work the rest do not seem too. I've tried to contact James and Kelly but no reply.

However ive always found Kelly and L3D Very responsive to my emails.

Apologies, I haven't gotten far enough into Quadpanels yet to explore using my own panels... I honestly didn't even realize that was a feature.

This was my first experience with the plugin and I was lost. Couldn't find any tutorals at all... then I did the headslap and checked the documentation. It has been so long since I learned from anything other than video tutorials, it honestly didn't occur to me that the plugin came with help.

Even with LW, I rarely go to the documentation first. Usually I only go there when something isn't working the way I think it should and I have exhausted all other options.

It also didn't help that I've been using vanilla LW (zero third party plugins) for so long. I only recently started buying plugins (LWCad, Treesdesigner, Quadpanels).

Hoping to pick up some 3rd Powers plugins in the next couple months.

I hope that custom panels is actually working... wow, that would be great!

Is there another plug-in besides Quadpanels that can add greebles or nurnies? If and when LScript is deprecated, does that mean plug-ins based on it will no longer work?

There are some but not on a scale of usability like Quadpanels. The ability to use your own design of panels is only available to Quadpanels as far as i know. Once LScript is gone then no previous scripts will work in LW. Mind you i think the depreciation of LScript will not happen for some time, if ever the way things might be going.

What is the latest version of Quadpanels available, and what version is needed for LW2019(.1.5) & LW2020(.0.2) compatibility?

I should have some custom panels that I can try with LW2019 and possibly LW2020, presuming I have or can get the latest version(s) of QuadPanels needed -- I appear to have 1.55, is there more recent revision?

Hmm, I have 1.55 so I'm guessing not. I vaguely recall finding out about the update in a forum thread, perhaps search for it?
