I see some just started an attempt on foam...

so, yep, things are happening quite rapidly over there. (development / tests)

I am actually shocked it is on Mac also.
Mac Pro (2010) OSX 10.14 RX580 Pulse LW2020
(plugins: LWCad 2020, TFD 1443, Syflex 2018, StarPro(2.3) 2020, ExrTrader 2020, Ubercam 2.0, Daz Mocap, DP Light 2020, Quadpanels 1.53)
Yesterday I bought a cola. A newspaper reported about it 24 hours later.
OK. The story was a lie.
But I'm surprised to see my name here. Does that mean that Mr Zuckerberg is responsible for data protection here?
Yes i bought storm. I could not resist. Although I don't have much time right now.
Of course, the price was a reason. And I'm really looking forward to the Alembic export.
I am still a beginner. People like Carm3D or Marjan are in a different league.
If you need more information about me..... tomorrow I'll buy a cuckoo clock.... :-)
best regards
Jim-Bob ( :-) )
not sure, but probably got it from the Storm forum or this NT forum.
so unfortunately didn't take any FBI skills.
yep, i hope to see some more Storm action from LightWavers.Carm3D or Marjan
characters interacting with Fluids is high on the list.
and please be sure to test the Demo files provided.
mighty nice.

I only wrote on facebook, under a post by Marjan, that I bought storm.
Hook on it.
I've been working on an animation project for a long time. The focus is on the collapse of a house.
The idea is to use storm to represent a landslide. And some feet interacting with mud
I would show something too, but I'm still modeling the whole scene.
(I am very bad at estimating the time I will need for a project. Everything is very easy and quick in my mind.)
And yes, i take some testings with this demo files. Looks fine.
Best regards
Kievi

Anyone actually used it for simulation and render within Lightwave? I'm curious as was Mr. Rid. Can the meshes and volumes be imported into Lightwsve for rendering using motion blur?
hi again, limited time, but some answers from FB >

or ask this man>
Lightwave3D + Storm simulation tool first try
Storm 0.5.0 // The Simulation Tool
1. LW Alembic cube animation to STORM 10 mm size
2. RESCALING in storm (0.2 if I remember correctly)
3. Granular Solver export simulation as .abc (LW Alembic file as collider).
4. Mesh simulation in Storm and export to .obj
4b import all objects in layout and surface all
4c. saved all objects
5. import obj + sequence in Lightwave
6. import LW alembic cube file
(rescale via NULL to match storm dimensions)
7. render (no motion blur)
I see my name was mentioned in that list [James Curtis]. However, I believe I signed up as a person interested in the product, but I actually never got it. So I am not involved with LightStorm at all, at this time. This is just a note to correct things in case of a misconception. Still interested it though.
