    Does anyone know if Lightwave will work on Apples M1 - CPUs?

    I don't even use Mac and just copied a FB question, but it is of general interest, and one thing I do wonder is that even if LW can not run natively, could Apples M1 at least be used within a render environment to speed up CPU output from LW, given the amazing reported speeds ?

    It's really about Big Sur I think rather than the M1 chip. Rosetta happily runs Intel compiled software without recompilation, so the ral question is how compatible Lw2020 is with Big Sur. Some people have had success with LW2018 but with some issues.

    To me the hard limit of 16 GB seems really low.
