Drag and Drop / Hide sections of interface - Save and Lock

I love that we can make media players bigger and smaller and the other elements of the Interface as well - but I often click around accidentally and move things around and show/hide things I don't want to change. Can we have an ability to lock the interface? And perhaps save and load different layouts?

Just to mention it, in case you weren't aware, you can double-click the horizontal and vertical dragbars in the Live Desktop's monitor area to restore default positions. Not what you're asking for, but a quick fix when you need it.

Yes, absolutely. And I'd love it if the "mem snapshot" pull-out window could float. Finding that little carrot to extract from the side is tricky during live production.

You don't actually need to hit the triangle - just bump the side of the screen.
