You can basically do this by customizing the preset slots to taste, then storing that in one or more template sessions.

Don't the presets not save what you had in them though?

Used to work from Neil deGrase Tyson, had to do it!
So the way we can stretch and hide positions for the media players, the P/P bar, the ME bar, the multiview spacing... I want to be able to lock or save those layouts!
I see. So, no (yes?), Workspace presets only store monitor configuration. A session, or a template session, would retain your current position on exit, but that's all.

Yes, that's a great idea. Different directors want different layouts. Would save a lot of time in setup.
