M/E preview assignable in source window

On the show I'm doing today, I'm running three M/Es plus the PGM bus. It would be very useful to be able to see a preview window for each M/E.

What do you mean by Preview ? Either you want to see the ME itself, then assign it to a window in the workspace(s)

if you want a kind of preview before ME is on air, then either you select it in the regulare PVW row, or you make use of the Previz feature. But in each case, it would be for one ME at a time.

Might mean that they are using the ME as a switcher (A/B) instead of compositing. At that point it would be nice to see the preview (about to bring on a Key for the ME etc.

Yes, I was using the M/E as a switcher and just trusting the lights on the stripe instead of having a visual confirmation. Not a common use case.

It may not be helpful, but in case you weren't aware - the M/E Follow viewports options track the current M/E tab. You might be able to take advantage of that.
