He..fun, thanks.
yeah, itīs amazing..a bit scary what can be done now..and itīs only the beginning , at least it feels like that.
Guess there will have to be written new laws on who can use what for what purpose.
And hubba hubba..who do you trust? what is real or fake?
After death actors will be more valuable for movie producers than alive..
(they won't request any salary for acting)

Impressive work, thanks for sharing. My preference is 3D characters, but I am curious how this type of thing is done. Not every connotation need be negative. Has anyone seen any workflow or tut ?
Also, the recent update to Photoshop featured all sorts of AI, yet a demo I saw a couple of years ago seems not available to this day - see the few moments from 16s:-

That could be useful for removing perspective distortion from reference images to model. Did anyone see any updates to that tech, or any program using it ?

probably the same method as the reface android app, literally need a couple of images, i think they track the original head with a 3d model, then its just warped and blended, there was a post on the forums 6 months or so ago to the original white paper and they showed it as almost instant from just a couple of photos,

I said laws may be written, even changed...not that the laws have been this and that for centuraries ago.
That was a different era, and also no legacy claim, nor did the persons understood these matters and the material quite different as well.
Immaterial rights is currently 70 year, but that is about an authors work.
Writing about someone, making a digital movie..may be something that may be changed..we are not frozen in time, neither are laws.
That said, it is also possible that no such laws will be enforced of course, but I think that will be discussed seriously and probably enforced to various degrees.
And I have no clue to which relatives there are to Ceasar, king Richard, Napoleon, Einstein...probably none of those, and where Einstein would probably be the only one that could claim some rights for a century or so.
Same for Arnold And Sylvester, only so long they can or may be able to claim rights.
All about time and what rules we set during that time.

To note, I am aware of that the above mostly is about performance capturing with the exceptance for peter cushings digital replica, but there is so much changing in the way we can portrait anyone, and reconstruct speech to sound like someone else, that these are matters I am convinced will take a road to new laws.

But this might be challenged in time. They could simply change the law.
As for real people I kind of feel sorry for them, not having control at a later time, take this Carrie Fisher stunt for example, would she approve ?
