    Lightwave communities?

    Hiya Gang,

Was wondering what LW communities people like to frequent the most?
I see activity on the facebook groups and here but wonder if there are other sites
    people are posting to?

The day when I released the first version of EasySplit, 27 March 2005, backed up by WebArchive (the first row) Flay.com website:
    http://web.archive.org/web/200504012.../www.flay.com/

Discussion with users about EasySplit on Flay forum:
    http://web.archive.org/web/200504050...il.cfm?ID=2130
(the first comment was from James Willmott, later he made Edge Pack, which was incorporated into Modeler)

Looking at WebArchive statistics, 2005 was the best year for Flay and LightWave. The largest amount of entries appeared.

That year, 64 bit LightWave appeared the first time.

If somebody want to remake any of these plug-ins which were in Flay database, just tell me which one you want..

The truth lies in the middle. Yes, you can find some pages on archive.org but the sites are not well archived. There are too many holes and dead ends.

There was a forum topic about 32 bit plugins that never made to the 64 bit world. One of those plugins might be a good candidate for new development.

yeah, a severe limit to what has been archived. unfortunately.

The thing I liked about flay.com was it's easy navigation
all on one page you had daily updates on cool animations and art
as well as a place to find out about the latest plugins and cg news.
