    Hope it may help.
At least I can get correct backed Multi MC file from ParticleScan,
both foam & spray played with MCC Emitter.

    Confirmed for exporting pfx format,
I will see what is going on with spay.pfx.

Load any object from sequence, and set as Object Sequence. For motion blur, apply the embedded morph as shown

    Denis.
MCC might be a workaround if PFX is not an option but, sorry for the dumb question, since I have never used MCC before could you tell me how to apply volumetrics on it ?
So far, no luck in both 2015 and 2020.

I just tried it with your foam loaded in MCC Emitter, then activating legacy Hypervoxel,
that works in LW 2015, but can get it in LW 2020,
probably a bug in 2020, because I can import the 2015 scene
    and get HV.

I fixed the issue when exporting a PFX File from your second BIN sequence (spray),
several particles have a life of just one frame, which are no compatible in the PFX format,
they are removed now, no more hanging.
