It's not about glum or glass half empty, it's about reality and NT/vizRT.

If you think so. Ok you said may, so in that sense I agree! I don't want it to die too.
I believe the patch was developed before the devs left or the ones with VizRT roles now were able to finish it and it was released for beta testing.
Nevertheless there is hope that known bugs in 2020 will be fixed at least.

Completely possible if the beta tester in question did it by accident.
Simple click of the button to accidentally launch the beta update instead of the current version. The only thing to warn you that you did it is one number three decimal.
EDIT: or was it intentional... duh DUH DUH!!!

I already regret participating in speculation but there are at least two directions this "leak" can fuel rumor.
That .3 update could have been prepared as early as July, immediately after .2 was officially released. It may not indicate active development today. Likewise, it may not indicate a currently active beta team. Beta team members may be more likely to expose the latest build they've received if they feel prior agreements don't apply anymore.
or...
That YouTube account has been very active posting tutorials recently. Maybe Mr. Hall knows inside info, that there's no need to give up at this point.
Either way, I'm still using LW for as long as I can and still appreciate those tutorials.
Well, Unreal Engine has just released version 4.26. Detaiils here:

I do hope Newtek/Vizrt have someone who can put together a new version of the LW Bridge to work with it.

So the .3 version of Modeler was part 1 of a video. Part 2, shows it back to being .2, which makes me think that it was a goof that the .3 version was used.

West Notts and Tony Hall have been a blessing to LW. He has a very comprehensive set of videos that he freely shares. Mark Warner same thing. In the face of so many leaving, he's been an ardent supporter of the program.
