Unreal NDI Out Freeze after few minutes

    Hello,

i have a problem with the NDI Output in Unreal if i use standalone.
If I play in editor everything is fine.
In Standalone Mode after few minutes the NDI Output freeze. Input keeps going but Output not.

Is there a solution or have other this problem too?
Standalone would be really nice because the performance is much better than in editor.

    Cheers,
    Benni

I'm having the same issue and I've been banging my head against it for months now. The only thing I've found that seems to work is to set the build configuration to Development. I have no idea why that seems to make things more stable. You're also going to have to come up with a way to either disable on screen messages or deal with print string in a different way. I've had video calls with developers at both NewTek and Epic about this issue and they have no idea what's going on either.

One theory is that a change in stream resolution could trigger the NDI SDK to reset the stream, and during the reset, it loses the reference to the texture it's writing to. But I haven't personally looked at any of the code so that's just wild speculation at this point.

If anyone has a solve for this issue or any ideas, I'm all ears.

Did anyone find a solution to this issue? Has anyone been able to fix the NDI Output freezing after a few minutes when running standalone? Trying it now in Unreal 4.25 and it freezes even faster now.
