    2020 Bog slow to animate

I started to post a different question when I decided to see how a recent FBX export would perform in 2020.

In short, completely unusable to even try & pose let alone animate.

The same FBX in 2019, even in Textured Wire is easy to rotate bones & pose (it's all FK) & see what your doing. In 2020 after making a fresh import, even in wireframe the lag time is in seconds & no feedback at all.

Might this be a new, missed setting somewhere or part of the up-coming fix? I've had a number of up-dating issues in other areas of 2020 & this kind of seems related.

Also, seems some are saying that the 3dVisionPro setting in the VPR options seems to be slowing things down as well. Try removing that if it's turned on in your scene

This is one of the reasons why I still have not upgraded to 2020 - I do a lot of character animation and such a drop in the performance of the Layout will simply stop my work. Very hope they will make bug-free release soon.

I'd certainly recommend waiting for the patch before jumping in atm. (begrudgingly upgraded)

Where do I look for that? Didn't see anything obvious in the VPR Configs.

    It's in here...

If it's there, remove it, if not... don't worry!

Testing 2020 out with my own mesh it simply caused a critical error when exporting to fbx. In fact I'm having a couple of different issues with the new 2020 of which I've sent in bug reports. Fbx being one. Always seems to be tools.dll that is faulting.
