    Rotating Nodal textures

I was assuming this was a pretty straightforward process but apparently it isn't. I've some nice PBR textures I'd like to rotate 90 deg. That's it. What's the trick in Nodes?

Earth can't be flat otherwise cats would have pushed everything off the edge!

Why not just rotate de UVs in Modeler ? or the texture map (before using it in LW) ?
If you really want to do it with nodes, then Rotate node from DPKit is the way to go.

Do it like this. The input is in radians so 90 degrees is pi/2.

Well, I did cheat & did it that way but there's got to be a simple mathematical way.

Rotation is locked, not working in UV mapping mode.

    btw..
Recently I fixed an issue in UV Mapping node from DP Kit 2018,
was inverted, now it works properly,
it can be used for a workaround,
selecting the UV map in its panel,
plug the oPos output in an oPos input of the Color Layer+ node (DP Kit)
setup a layer image in planar Z mapping,
    then you can rotate it,
but don't know if you can replace your U and V tile,
    by something like Scaling though.

Thanks Denis. I'll give that a test later today.

That did work as far as it goes & no wasn't able to do any tile scaling. But that's encouraging.

I've run into this quite bit over time & seems odd that there isn't already a simple node for what would seem to be a very basic, common thing to want to do. I've got this texture & that UV...

    I tried another way,
I added an U & V inputs in the ReplaceSpot node from DP Filter (...works in Surfacing context)

Image mapping must be set to ObjecUV (not UVmap),
here U is plugged in V input and V in U input :

I'll give a look today then. Thanks.

Well, did get the update & replaced but this is what I'm seeing for that node:

The DP Filter 2018 update is 05/05/20 dated,
readme file does mention this addition in the ReplaceSpot node
(..and I verified the uploaded file on my site it is correct).

Very Strange. I'll take a deeper look tomorrow.

    Another ObjectUV rotation:

While the Image node must stay in ObjectUV Mapping mode,
you can replace the current ObjectUV by another UVMap,
using the Vertex UV Map node and its U & V outputs.

I was to quick. I forgot that you must change the image projection inside the image node to UV as well, not only plug in the uv slots on the node. I don't use LW that much anymore so I forgot. I also see that Denis has solved it for you.

Setup described by Denis is what I use when having to tweak image placement on UVed object. Works great
