    VMC1, TC1, TC410 - Remote Control SDK

    Hi,

    I've applied multiple times for the Remote Control SDK (Newtek.com) over the past months and haven't received any reply other than the automated response.

    I'm doing multiple integrations with VMC1, TC1's with Premium Access as well as a TC410.

    With the web based integrations, the Automation & Integration Guide has enough info and I have web-sockets and http get providing the comms I need.

    For other integrations, specifically with TCP comms, the guide has a snippet with register name=NTK_states, which works but I'm hoping the SDK has more info for receiving dictionary info and registering for other notifications via TCP.

    Triggering of shortcuts works great via TCP, http or web-sockets and all the info is there via http .../v1/dictionary?key=shortcuts_config

    Even if the response is no to the SDK info, at least it is an answer. Hopefully somebody can shoot through the info or theres a contact I can make.

    Thanks
    Shane

    Hi Shane,

    I was playing around all the documentation last week as I'm also playing with Websockets and http requests on my VMC1 . From what I could see the last up to date documentation is in the integration guide, I still have the documents from the SDK, but they have quite old information ( around 2014-2015 I guess) and from what I could see, not many difference from the integraiton guide, at least concerning remote control.
    I also made a SDK request recently, but did not get any answer...... sadly.

    Drop me a private message, if I can help sharing what I know /have. Would be also interesting to discuss about devlopment and integration :-)

    All of the Remote Control information is now publicly available in the Automation and Integration Guide. Starting on page 51 (Chapter 7).

    Did you get anywhere with this? I'm trying to figure out how to get the list of switcher and mixer sources.

    Something like this ? if so, one of the available method :http://tricaster_IP/v1/dictionary?key=tally

    <tally>
    <column name="input1" index="0" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="0"/>
    <column name="input2" index="1" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="1"/>
    <column name="input3" index="2" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="2"/>
    <column name="input4" index="3" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="3"/>
    <column name="input5" index="4" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="4"/>
    <column name="input6" index="5" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="5"/>
    <column name="input7" index="6" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="6"/>
    <column name="input8" index="7" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="7"/>
    <column name="input9" index="8" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="8"/>
    <column name="input10" index="9" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="9"/>
    <column name="input11" index="10" on_pgm="false" on_prev="false" ndi_id="10"/>
    <column name="input12" index="11" on_pgm="true" on_prev="false" ndi_id="11"/>

    There are many ways depending of what you exactly need and how you want to use it...

    If you want the list what is on the main switcher bus or an M/E, you want the 'key=switcher' dictionary.
