    No audio Mac to PC

I'm using NDI Tools 4.5 on a Mac and on a PC.

Running Scan Converter on the PC, I can hear audio on the Mac with Video Monitor.

The opposite does not work. Running Scan Converter on the Mac, I cannot hear audio on the PC with Studio Monitor. I've double checked all the audio settings.

Scan Converter on the Mac listens to audio inputs. You need to install an audio lookback device to hear system sounds. SoundFlower is one example.

    Thank you Kane.
I'm taking a look at SoundFlower and the offshoot product Loopback. Is the goal to send the system audio to the NDI Scan Converter?
Is there a description somewhere of what to do?

Never mind. I got it working. I ran the Loopback product for Mac, then simply set Loopback as the audio output and the audio input in the Mac's System Audio Settings.

SoundFlower is outdated and not supported any longer. Looback is pricey. Why can't Scan Converter use the system settings on a Mac? Is there something not as expensive as Looback?

Scan Converter does use the audio settings on the Mac of whatever microphone you have selected.

Here is another tool you can try to create an audio loopback.

The modern product to use instead of Soundflower is called "BlackHole"

OK, we're trying to get streaming content from a web browser to the Tricaster. I'm having trouble getting BlackHole to do the job. Suggestions on settings?

No one knows the settings to make BlackHole on a Mac work properly?
