    just wondering, just curious, is there LightWave equivalent function for this plugin ?

    Maybe this:

    link the points in a line
    select the inner points
    smooth with a lot of iterations

    Edit: this won't distribute them evenly

    cool, but only works if the orange points are already present.

    just thought there was a LightWave native way,.. maybe not.  


    sidenote; worked ok in LWcad, but PicTrix vAlign plugin was faster in this particular case.

    Why are you seeking a LW-native function if this free lscript can run anywhere from LW7.5 to LW2019?
    LW4, 7.5D, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020 running portably on a USB drive on an Amiga 2500 running Wine.

    i simply thought LightWave could do it, and was puzzled when i figured it most likely couldn't.

    nothing more, other than filing a feature request i guess.


    sidenote; in LightWave one can hack it using HeatShrink

    I suspect there may be a few possible features that LW devs ignore because there is already a plugin/script floating around. With Pictrix no longer developing and an uncertain future compatibility, this would definitely be a good feature request for NT.
