OpenSubdiv, set of open source libraries that implement high performance subdivision

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if plugins have been already developped based on these libraries?

OpenSubdiv is another subdivision surface algorithm that developers can use in their apps. It would be nice if NT could use it in LW but I doubt their infrastructure could support it - much like Catmull-Clark doesn't really work all that great.

Could also have something to do with Edwin Catmull being at Pixar, and not Newtek.
