3D Animated Wuhan Coronavirus COVID-19 PSA

Here's my Wuhan Coronavirus COVID-19 PSA rendered in LightWave 3D

It's a square video format to be seen and shared in a facebook feed on a smart phone.

Here's the original blog post about it.

I built the virus was using all instances. 11K instances for the shell proteins, 100 instances of the primary spikes (the tall red spikes) and 150 instances of the secondary (small orange) and tertiary (small green) spikes distributed at an 80/20 split.

I'm making an updated version of this and added a poll to see what may prevent people from sharing it on social media so that I can improve its "viral" reach. So please let me know either what would prevent you from sharing it, or what would make it more shareable! THANKS!

I'm also in the process of using my model/scene to create some other microbiology illustration/animation samples.
    Stay tuned!

Here's an updated version of the PSA.
I fixed the color cast the old version had and updated/shortened the ending with more information and a bit more subtle branding.
Which version do you like better, this one or the first one?

I think both versions are excellent in equal measure.

The only problem with sharing it is the risk of being banned by the social media sites (for reasons that are beyond rational thought). So, for many, it's a bit too risky.

    Thanks Shabazzy!

    I'm glad you like it.

I didn't think about that. But you're right. These days the social media police are a bit out of control banning things that they disagree with.

You're very welcome sir. Funny thing though, I was watching Season 1 Episode 1 of Neil DeGrasse's Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey and in it he covered Italy's Giordano Bruno of the sixteenth century and how he was persecuted and sentenced to death by Rome's Catholic Inquistion 'Thought Police' for saying truths that went against their doctrines, and I thought how little people have changed over the years. Today's big mainstream institutions of influence (educational, media, law, politics etc) are still trying to silence and persecute those who think differently and would dare to speak from an honest and truthful heart.

We live in exceedingly worrying times with the threat to free speech, logic, honesty, morality, rational thought and discourse, and I fear for the younger generation. I truly do.

Agreed. The truth usually wins out in the end. But sometimes it takes quite some time and trouble before that happens.
