Mind you, this is very much a WIP. The fun part was doing battle migrating a Win7 system to a Win10 via LAN. Kind of a one way conversation. Anyway, pretty much got it all done when I sorta, kinda got "interrupted".

The short version is after having retired & moved from LA to back to Oregon, I had to come back out of retirement & return to LA as I HAD to work the less than 400 hrs I need for full health bennies in that jurisdiction. Thanks for the erroneous information from the administration folk who are suppose to know this stuff.

So I've been away from my baby for 4 months now & hopefully only 1 more. I've been limping along on a laptop, a very nice HP laptop, but a fraction of the horsepower of the Boxx of course, not to mention NOT having my FIOS 200 MB network connection.

So ya, I'm slumming in LA. NoHo in fact. Can't wait to get back to civilization, clean air & water, and really have at some graphics work I can only go so far with at the moment.
Someone else that opted to get the 2990WX. I don't feel so alone now.

Think I may add a 4th monitor above the center one.

Very nice workstation! Nice looking dog too! I see what appears to be a bunch of stacked GPUs in your machine for rendering in Octane a presume.

Do any of you guys make use of devices like Spacepilot or custom speciality keyboards or programmable gaming mice or such ? Eg:-

I got a few things to help, hot keys on my corsair keyboard, some of the buttons on my g502 mouse shortcuts, and spacepilot is brilliant for layout and 3dcoat, still doesn't work well with zbrush as it overrides the mouse, but in 3d coat its like your holding the mesh with your left hand and painting with your right, it feels so natural doing it,

Nice setup! I see have a CRT monitor. Do you prefer using a CRT for something specific?

Good to hear! AMD is making the CPU's I have always dreamt of having. They were the first to do it so that's why AMD got my money and Intel didn't.

I prefer CRT for everything - superior colours, contrasts, screen tearing non-existent - only limitation is resolution as I won't go below 100 Hz refresh rate.
