How to Save multiple Trans objects at once in Layout?

I downloaded this bed from 3Dsky and loaded the fbx file to find that every piece of the bed loads in as a separate object. Normally I would use "Collapse Obj" in modeler to collapse all the loaded objects into one object but in this case all pieces of the bed have been positioned as items with all different pivot locations in Layout.

Is there a way to save multiple transformed objects out Layout at once or maybe another way to approach this that is easy?

Try to save the scene as fbx and then load that in modeler.
Would be good if modeler could load lws files so you didn’t need to use fbx.

Thanks that worked perfectly! All this time I never knew modeler could load fbx files because fbx is more of a scene format so I always assumed I had to use Layout to load them. I learned something new today!

Yes, I also use fbx saves for that, but there are plugins as well ..

And a lot of other useful plugins as well from Mike Green.

Thanks! Looks like another good option for dealing with these fbx models.

My tool Bake Scene can even generate animated object sequence... or MDD for differences between frames.. or both.
Objects (e.g. different layers) do not have to be collapsed to single scene-object! It is just an option..
