    Looping Video

    Hello.

For every broadcast, we have a looping video in DDR1.
When we export the video from Premiere as a H.264 720p file, the loop isn't perfect on Tricaster. It's as though it skips the first few frames or last few frames, so it looks like the video jumps every time it loops.

When we export the exact same video from Premiere as AVI with a Newtek codec, the loop is perfect on DDR1.

    Any ideas why?

    Thanks.

My guess is the LongGOP structure of H.264 versus the I-Frame only structure of SpeedHQ. If I get a chance, I'll see if I can test this myself.

Thanks! I don't remember this as being an issue before. Started recently.

I believe like it's predecessor SpeedEdit TriCaster automatically sets the in/out point of the clips in the DDR 1 second in...it can be changed in the ddr...this MAY be your problem... -S
