    CSV Into LiveText/Tricaster

    Hello.

For an upcoming broadcast, I have a CSV (http://data.bullitttiming.com/video/5kMen.csv) that has timing results of an on-going race.
The CSV gets updated every 5 seconds.

Any way to get that data into LiveText or Tricaster, and have it update live (every 5 seconds)?

    Thanks!

    Imry

I think I did something similar by outputting the contents into the watch folder of the session I was using. I could then reference the values via % variables and they updated anytime I updated the document.

In my case I did write a script that got the content into a format the tricaster was happy with.

I recall even using sportzcast xml app to output to the watch folder and using that successfuly

If I recall, TriCaster supports csv files, but LiveText does not. The watchfolder will automatically update when the file does.

Thanks, Kane! How would I go about recalling the CSV data from within Tricaster?

I'll have to try when I get a chance. I'm out of the country right now, not near a system to check.

They showed up in the % variables for me when I last used it. If your first entry is 1, 2 3 it may be tied too that. %1 etc

    Thanks all for the suggestions.
Didn't have time to implement anything this time around, so just used scan converter to show website with results.
    Maybe next time...
