    Yeah :-)
with the fastest usb 2.0 ever on an amiga.
And the second core is just there. He doesn't have to work.

Maybe I just like lightwave because of the retro feeling. I mean that without irony.

Yeah I thought Akeytsu had a feature similar to Delta-mush in Maya. It looks like it doesn't... Though tech support told me "we have an in-house algorithm for skinning derived from the same principle as the delta-mush algorithm." Whatever that means... I'm going to play with the demo when I have some more time. I think there may be still some value to be had from it.

Yeah Delta-Mush is great, I use it in Cinema (as a plugin) too for deformation. If it's used in akeytsu, I can only imagine it's used within the application itself. That would defeat the purpose since that nice deformation would be lost when exported via fbx (as far as I understand).

Or it bakes it out to weightmaps for export. Like they can do in Maya. In the end if you use fbx it can not be as a deformer and need to be weight based.

Oh Akeytsu doesn't export to alembic or MDD?? That is disappointing.

I know you don't like Blender, but I just wanted to add that it has a delta-mush modifier (corrective smooth it is called) and also exports in Alembic and mdd.

Well, Blender 2.82 got released today, three months after 2.81. Loads of major new features again. Simulations received a major update (Mantaflow, FLIP fluid solver), which makes it an even better companion for LightWave users.

Tagline: Power Your Pipeline. They are starting to improve its integration with existing pipelines.

I'm a LW user and I'm 65, so you are about right. But, I've been using it since it's inception.
