Anyone using Canon 60Dís through Tricaster Mini SDI?

I have two Canon 60Dís I would like to run through my Tricaster Mini 4-SDI (That I have had for a long time but never used...long story) The 60D has a small HDMI out and a A/V digital out. I found some AJA HDMI to SDI out converters. I want to do some church interviews. Anybody run this similar set up or have any suggestions to make it work?

    Thanks folks,

Worked with one camera Canon 60D - it worked with the micro Hdmi to Hdmi but the other problem was the display had the focus cube.
Somehow - with the configuration, we managed to take it out and use it. (don't remember the config setup but it worked).
Prefered to work with video cameras rather with DSLR like the Canon who had a limit for 30 minutes video length If I remember correctly.

I can get the DSLR to record 12-17 minutes on its own but as soon as I connect from the mini HDMI out to the HDMI converter SDI it shuts down and within a minute in the camera and the Tricaster display. Might not be possible but I’ll keep trying. I can run GO Pro cameras all day with this setup.
    I’ll keep trying,

Nope, can’t get them to stay on, even while recording from the HDMI out. The cameras alone will record for 17 minutes. Once I connect them HDMI out to the Tricaster SDI in through a converter, it shuts down in a minute. Probably works but I don’t know how.

    Thanks for trying!

Maybe Magic Lantern is your solution
Back than I found a way to open the Canon operation system and make it unlimited by the factory.
Check those links - there is a tutorial on how to do that.
Lots of features are being opened after implement it.

But the insight I got than - is working with a proper video camera such as the Sony PMW-X70 or others with the Tricaster.

I got it! I downloaded ML experimental one that keeps the live view on, disables 30 minute thing and I can use the 60D and (hopefully) record in the Tricaster. That’s my next step but I’m happy to get this far.
    Thanks Tomerson,
