Need help on creating a Photographic Reference

I was trying to follow James Busby's 2010 lesson on setting up a photographic reference for modelling. But in using LW2019 I can't figure out how to view the mesh in wireframe mode, and still keep the photographic reference in UV mode/Texture. The photograph uses the Standard approach to surfacing. But the mesh uses BSDF. I also imported that mesh from Poser Pro 11 just as a quick example.

I found the proper transparency settings. I thought it was in the Surface Editor but instead it was in the Display options.

Since you're seeking ideals, the "Nipple–Areola Complex" seems a bit misplaced / misaligned (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5030227/).
