    Lw 2018 yellow spots

    Hi

Do you know why this happens? Same scene different frames and different results with that weird yellow spot when rendering the sequence. If I render that frame again that yellow spot can appear or not randomly

either lights or geometry, turn lights off and by trial and error try to find it, check geo for two point poly's, non plainers etc

If you are using 2019, try turning on de-spike, and give it a threshold of 0.2-0.3.

Also, what is the specularity and roughness on the yellow surface?

Not only that surface, by the way. But its settings are those below

If you're in 2018, the principled shader could do some strange and incorrect things if you had clearcoat on.

My recommendation is to go through the denoise workflow that should be in the online help, then.
