Ligtwave 2018 keeps starting in discovery mode

Lightwave was working just fine, then just today when I open it it starts in discovery mode. I get my license key file from my account and drop it into the splash window like normal, Lightwave pops up a message saying that my license key has been added to my configuration and restart the application to take effect. Well I restart and it come right back up in Discovery mode. I have tried this numerous time both in Modeler and Layout same results. I really do not want to delete LW and reinstall as I would have to reinstall a bunch of plugins and re-set all of my user preferences. Any Ideas?? Before I start pounding LW technical support.

Do you get a message saying "One or more license keys was found..." in the splash screen? Do you have the licence of LightWave running on another machine in your network?
