Ok, I must have missed that? We can just leave it at that, it sucks.

As mature as you, who don't say specifics and only say it sucks. You don't say why it sucks compared to Lw, you don't say why it's so much slower and you don't say what you are trying to do in the first place. I've seen a lot of ways to scatter vegetation in Blender that seems much faster and nicer than anything I've seen in LW. But you have done your research and come to the conclusion that it sucks, not more to say about that. For you it sucks for me it doesn't (I don't do much vegetation stuff so maybe thats why?).

Are you claiming "Object Scatter" requires more steps than doing the equivalent in native LW?

    "Object Scatter"
Where the Hell was this option when i was looking for it ?
    I looked everywhere! (obviously not)
Looked through 30 instancing links and none of them covered "Object Scatter".

    My humble apologies to Ztreem.

As I assumed you hadn't done your research. Then you problaby missed this addon that also is in development.https://twitter.com/dorianborremans

Non of them uses physics like advanced placement but still good if you want to work fast, as that was one of your criterias.

Ps. And if you can do any of this faster in Lw, I would like to see a link to that solution.

No worries, Both Blender and LW could do significantly better w.r.t. clearly and fully enumerating all non-released, "legacy" / "experimental" capabilities that are included OOB. In LW's case, the legacy plugins are similar (as are a couple hiding in the LWSDK) -- you're just not likely to find them unless you already know they exist, and where to find them.

I am a bit baffled that One needs to Enable quite a lot of addons that by default is shipped with the blender installation, not sure why they have made it that way, maybe to make it lighter to use or install or something, but it is definetly sort of reducing functionality for a user that may want to get the most of the software, I would think it should be the other way around, you uncheck the addon if you do not want them.

Enough already! This was never about blender or the other crap you guys are talking about.

We have as of about an hour ago fully resolved any payment processing or transaction completion issues as well as user log in problems through the LightForge Render Network Cloud-UI application. If you have tried it and didn't get very far, try again using the sign up credentials you use. REMEMBER: Your user account is: administrator
