    Well, so OK then.

Here's what my year old Boxx Apexx T-3 system did:

    Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 build 18362.356
    Xeon E5-1620 v3 @ 3.5GHz
    16GB DDR4 ECC 2133 MHz
    GPU 8GB Quadro M4000

    Attachment 146031
So, now that I've got LW2019 installed on my bargain basement PC, I thought it would be interesting to see if my money was well spent.

    Dell Precision 7810

    Render Time: 2m 11s

    LW 2019.1.5
    Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 build 18362.30
    Dual Xeon E5-2680 v3 @ 2.5GHz
    64GB DDR4 ECC 2133 MHz
    GPU 8GB Quadro M4000

So I would say that an almost 5x speed improvement, at least on this benchmark scene, makes my £430 PC a pretty good investment

Actually, I'd say that is a pretty good Bang for the Buck (or is is Punch for the Pound)?

I spent considerably more, but was truly more interested in just cutting to the chase w/ zero hassle.

Absolutely Just for fun, I also downloaded and ran Cinebench 20. It returned a quite respectable 7292. The interesting part about that figure is that I was looking into getting a Ryzen 3900X before getting lucky and buying this PC. The 3900X Cinebench 20 score is 7100. So for slightly more than the cost of just a 3900X cpu, I got a complete PC that is, at least in theory, slightly faster for rendering

    3900X stock. Watercooled. 126.2s
    64GB RAM 3200

    LW 2019.1.5

For reference, my machine gets over 7300 in Cinebench R20. You can see my last run in the rankings in the screenshot below.

    11 minute 11 Seconds

    2017 MacBook Pro 15" 2017 model
    I7 3.1GHz
    Radeon 560 4GB
    16GB Ram

Safari was in the background, but not super loaded up. That's probably indicative of normal.

656,2 seconds (10min 56 seconds) System stats in the image as well.

I had 7 firefox windows running, and with approximated 40 window tabs within each.
DaVinci Resolve open, but not running.
Daz Studio open but not running.

CPU stats while running for layout around 91%, the rest other resources.

    Asus Rog G20CB
Bought in 2017 I think, no overclocking or modification.

Oh, well not quite. I live less than 2 mi. from the main manufacturing & if ya saw all the new housing & infrastructure that's gone in in the past year...

HUNDREDS of acres of gorgeous crimsom clover & wheat farm land that have been there since the 1800's are now McPhuquing Mansions!

    No, they ain't dead.

    5:45 seconds on a

    2019 16" MacBook Pro
    2.4 Ghz Core i9 (8 cores)
    32 GB Ram
    Radeon 5500M GPU

So that is roughly half the time of the 2017 model listed above, for everyone on Macs and wondering about upgrading.

I suspect this scene will need redoing before it can used as a LW2020 benchmark. The image you posted definitely does not look right compared with the earlier versions in LW2019.
