    was waiting for this one!  Great to see it tested.

    saw in Cinebench the 3900X being 20% slower than the 3950X.
    so, 'bout 120 seconds then. (roughly)

    That's pretty fast! I think the 3950X is a nice sweet spot at the moment for speed and value. My 2990WX did 77 sec with no OC so that 103 sec isn't far off.

    for optimal prize/performance i'd go for 3900X
    ~50% cheaper then 3950X
    ~20% slower

    You can't go wrong with Ryzen 7/9 tho...   
    (or 3900X / 3950X)

    and the overclocked 1700X is incredible also.

    3900 is just about 32% cheaper than 3950 here in my country so the price/performance ratio is allmost same. And it doesn't matter because both items are currently unavailable here with delivery time about five weeks.
