It's an option for some lights the same way portals are an option for some lights. So IMO it's appropriately documented. I do however think the sample image in the docs could be improved, at first glance one would think thats just a ball object and not a light. Maybe should be more like this:

Perhaps, but in in case if there's ANY confusion (which there is) it needs to be addressed. Nothing new with Lightwave documentation.

    It is documented
I don't think they need to change anything, aside from the image as Tim suggests. But anyway... At least you now know

Mmmm, documented perhaps as in mentioned, but not adequately. But yes, I know now what to look out for. Won't help the next person that encounters this issue though.

I mentioned in my YouTube video that I would post my finished room - so here it is.

    Hi guys,
I've read this thread with interest and updated the wiki with more, hopefully, clearer, information. I like your picture, Tim. Can I replace the existing one with it?

PS. If there is anything you feel is missing from the documentation, Ma3rk, you have only to post a bug report/feature request.

Thanks to both you & Tim, BeeVee. As I started the thread though, I wasn't sure if it was a bug.

In any case, I won't be able to play with any of this for a few months.
