Layout pause when clicking back into it...

I've noticed recently that when Im working in Layout and click out to Modeler or any other program running, then click back into Layout there is like a 10 second delay before I can do anything. Has anyone else noticed this?

I don't remember if it was an early build of 2018 or 19, but yes that was a huge issue for a lot of us as I recall. Be sure and download the latest build as that was corrected.

That's weird. There is an issue with the HUB that I've been told will be fixed in an upcoming build and my guess would be that this is a related issue.

I have this too, it drives me mental.

It only started since LW 2018, but I've been reporting the heck out of it, so hope it will be sorted for the next release, whenever that may be.

I can't figure out what causes it though, it's seemingly random, but never occurs when the hub is disabled.

Using 2019.1.1 and yes, it seems slow to react, aslo changes made in modeler and switching do not work.
2015 worked much better in that regards for me, though 2015 in general was more crash proned in layout.

The communication between Layout and Modeler, I've been told was handed off to the devs, after I went back and forth with tech support for a while..so hopefully that gets fixed and also this niggly lil issue.
