PANIC! No video or audio out! TriCaster 460

    Hi guys.

Just experienced something that makes me worried.
Yesterday i realized that our TriCaster 460 stopped sending video out (HD-SDI) and no sound.
The sound on the streaming were doing hick-ups.
I restarted the system - same issue.
I tried to make new presets, but I was only able to choos from NTSC-formats (30i, 30p, 60i, 60p)
Made another restart with total power off. It did the trick.
HOWEVER - our system has been running for a few hours and the problem is back again...

    TC-version: AE3 7-0-190802C
    Nvidia version driver: 436.02

    Please help.

    Best regards

A chat with Customer Service might be a good idea, but if software measures don't help I'd be looking at the TriCaster i/o card for poor seating or oxidation of the edge contacts.

    Thanx Steve.

After another restart i realized that I had three Newtek HD Video devices in the Device Manager. Two of them marked with version 1.01 and version 1.02 had a yellow warning (and code 10). The third device (version 1.02) only had a questionmark and according to the properties tab it was running fine.
I removed the devices with the warning flags and haven't got them back yet…

    Best regards

    Frippe,

Just out of curiosity, do you always install the latest NVIDIA drivers?
We always do our best to NEVER install an update unless we are having issues.
If it's not broken, we don't try to fix it.
Did you have the same issues with the older NVIDIA drivers?

    Hi there!
When we first experiences problems i recall we used the latest NVIDIA drivers.
After a factory reset and a complete reinstall, we still had problems and it might be related to that we are using the latest version: 436.30.
However, after deleting the devices with yellow flags in the device manager the system is healthy again.
I'm really not sure which versions of the driver to install. It's hard to find documentation about recommended drivers...
