Yeah I didn’t see it in the release notes so a very pleasant surprise! As is the release yesterday apparently!

Would it be possible to get an RTMP version of this SRT Ingest guide?

And that's awesome, but while I'm now able to get my SRT ingest working just great, I want to try and get RTMP ingest working and I just can't seem to get it right. So i'm hoping someone can provide a little guidance.. or a guide, to guide me.

    Hi all'

We have just started to use SRT.

We are using the Larix app on a iPhone to stream back to our TriCaster 410plus in our studio. We won't to have a live reporter on location for news reporting on a live show.

We have managed to bring in the live feed from the iPhones camera and sounds, but we can't workout how to get the sound back to the reporters iPhone.

Can anyone help us with this issue please?

    kind regards

    Joe

YOu are asking for IFB basically. I believe you would want to create a mix minus of the guest but then you have to find a way to take that mix and send it back. I believe a lot of folks use various voice services Unity etc to do that part. This way their audio is coming in via SRT with video but the return is reaching them via an "intercom" or phone call. Latency will can impact this a little.

I saw that in the latest build that SRT "streaming" output is now supported. I've not yet installed the latest (7-3-200818) build yet.

SO, my question is, is SRT a profile in the streaming panel or is it an output modality selected either in the output configuration panel (or elsewhere)?

I ask as I'm likely setting up a HuddleCamHD Pro (not the NDI version) and I'm exploring best practices in getting that video into and back out of my system.

    Thanks!

There is a new "SRT Stream" option in the "New preset ..." menu to let you configure your destination.

    Hi

Thanks for the feedback. Is the update available for 410plus? As it’s not showing the updates for that model on the update page

    Kind regards

    Hi all ,

If We had two Tricaaters, let’s say a 410plus & mini 4K. Can I connect SRT to SRT to both systems without a third-party software like SRT server between them?.... straight Tricaster to Tricaster and be able to adjust the latency and the bitrate?

    Kind regards
