Did google just remove the option to image search time date periods?

I often use the option to search for images a specific time, so usually I use specify a time from one date to another, I was about to do that again..but suddenly there is no option to choose search by date, now thereīs only 1 year, last month , last week and last day...

is it the same for you guys, that search option should be under tools in google image search.

I still get a list of times, with "Custom range..." at the very bottom of the list.

thatīs what I usually use, but no...it is still gone here, will try other browsers and computers.

I also noticed that the size option now doesnīt have the option to choose resolution either, only small, medium and large.

What about when searching for images? Now I am just seeing 4 size options - Any size, medium, large and icon.

Exactly...that is also what I mentioned earlier, it use to have options to set 800x600, 1080x1024 etc and custom...but I just donīt get that anymore.
Iīve tried looking through the settings panel as well, but canīt find anything related to that.

There are also differences weather or not you are logged in to a google account or not, and there is also a difference if you search images from scratch by a named tag, or if you upload and image or search google with an image link.

And yes, that too..I kind of have that sense as well..less accurate.

As long as I am logged in with an google account, I can search within a specified time period, which was somekind of erratic previously.

But the size, it doesnīt matter if I go to settings and advanced search options and set it to 1024x -X once I go to the size panel, it still will only show all sizes, large, medium or icon...se image...
    For swedish translation that is - Alla storlekar/All sizes - Stor/Large - Mellan/Medium - Ikon/Icon

    I generally use this link:

    https://www.google.com/advanced_image_search

and that gives you the larger size options. They have done some recently with the search results window that I don't care for. Hard to describe but very awkward now.

That is what I refered to when I said the avanced search didnīt work, well..it kind of works for the initial search, but not when you want to filter those results as you could do previously.

Is it the fact that the preview window now opens on the right, but the thumbnails for the search on the left jiggle around as they have less rows once the preview is open, so the mind loses the visual map for the next possible thumbnail to click. It's very jarring on the eyes/mind.

Seems very limited though, like 500 000 images indexed compared to google around 10billions?
