    WiFi Intercom system (APP)

Maybe this isn't the correct forum for this but...

I'm looking for a cheap intercom solution (APP--hopefully compatible over iOS and Android) that we can use for our athletic broadcast to talk to camera operators (wireless cameras using NDI Sparks). Anybody and any suggestions?

Even supports tally information from TriCaster.

WOW that looks really cool with some really nice features (pushing program audio to users...although this is not include in the 3 user base price...adds another $400). It's just a little pricey for us. We basically have zero budget and not possible at this point.

BirdDog has their COMMS software, but it requires a BirdDog unit at each camera.

I've never used this, but heard of it.

Yes, were using a Bird-Dog mini on our press box camera to get that signal and talent audio over NDI back to our studio. We will use the comm port to talk to the talent...pipe the audio into the "Tape Input" channel and turn off the "Assign to Main" so that audio won't go out over the program. We'll also use a small push-to-talk mic on the desk so they can talk back us.

Our sideline cameras don't have this available since they'll be using NewTek Sparks and don't have the comm feature.

I downloaded Zello on an iphone and and Android phone and it works really well. It's near instant audio at the other end, it runs in the background, and you can make Channels to talk to groups (you have to verify your phone number to make this feature work.)
