    Chamfer gone bonkers

any body else getting this, in 2019.1 through to current update, once you go above around 6500 polys in a layer, select a couple of edges, try to chamfer and the whole layer suddenly selects itself and chamfers every edge in the layer? happens in all three .1.x updates

ahhhhh, just figured it, it happens if you have more than one foreground layer by the look of it, seems its lost the ability to work over multiple layers,

That happens even with simple cubes. It's a multi-layer selection issue, if only one layer is selected it works just fine. It's been reported but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a "Catmull-Clark never gets fixed" issue. Bottom line - Modeler needs a complete rewrite to make some of this stuff work right and this may be one of those things.

Report it again (BUG) and hope for fast fix. The sooner and more times it's reported the better is chance for fix .

With Ikeda gone, I wouldn't hold much breath hoping for "new tool" fixes, esp. ones that involve fundamental issues with how those tools work (as in this case).

Absolutely worth filing a bug report, regardless.
