recording problems

Hi I have a Tricaster 460 with AE2 installed.

Yesterday we make our live show normally but the recording file, have a lot of issues.
the plaback the first minut is ok then start to stop and drop frames, afrter some seconds play fine again, and the issue start over and over on the rest of the video.
also that file is unable to copy on other location.

Today I restore Tricaster and update it, also update the Driver from Nvidia and Intel Drivers. but the problem is still there.
Also I notice that when we are on live show the DDR start Drop in some cases.

someone has a similar problem?

That TriCaster has two drives, D: and E: and E: is the removable drive.

Can you determine which drive you were recording to and playing back from? Or does this happen on both drives? If E: is having issues, what are the specifications of the drive? Should be 7200rpm, 64MB cache for example. Not a "green" drive, something like WD Caviar Black or Seagate Barracuda are good choices for performance.

Make sure drives are not getting too full, and also that they are not fragmented. Also do not record more than two videos to each drive.

For the DDR drops, were clips imported using Import Media tool that will transcode the footage if needed? Sometimes certain formats will not play well if not imported/transcoded properly. Probably not the issue since record is also affected.

Hi Jeff thanks for the answer.

I test it with both disk and also a USB 3.0 disk. in all of then has the same problem.
the disk only has 10% of use.

For my test i made a new session, put only 1 source and recorded it. no other action is perform on the tricaster.

Update:

After test both drives in other computer with seagate tools Tester both of my disk report a problem. so tomorrow I will change disk ant test again.
